Lake District
This series of photographs were taken at the end of last month. On a rare sunny day; on my way up Scafell Pike and just above Angle Tarn. This area of water caught my attention, the reflections. It was as if a piece of the sky had fallen down and landed in the soft mud of the fell.
With a rest needed, I got my cameras out and thought it would be fun to see the effect ripples would have on the image. But what really grabbed my attention was the moment the stone broke the calm surface of the water. All great fun and a good distraction from the hard task of cimbing Englands highest mountain from Langdale.
I was really happy with the results, and similar to my last post about the flowers such a shame no one gets to share them with me…maybe one day.
