I was lucky enough to be up in one of my favourite place last week working for the National Trust. We were up a hill just by the edge of Grasmere when the clouds briefly broke. Moments like this are very rare and one of the reasons why I love my job.
To be in the right place at the right time is so satisfying and this shot is made even better by the fact there is a lone walker on the ridge. You have to be very observant to spot them. The rest of the day the weather was very flat and tricky to work with. But just for a few minutes it made the hills come alive.
