I have always loved the Lake District. I used to go every year as a child until I was well into my teens. And it has never left my blood.

I would say Autumn must be the best season; wonderful colours and mood, early mists, quick flowing clouds, changing light all help to add to the drama.. Most of the above were taken on my phone as the light changed so quick I would have missed it having to dig my Nikon out of the bag.

I was lucky enough to be working up there for a week and it really reminded me how much I enjoy landscape photography, when you have to be ready to catch the light in its ever changing moods.
