About William J Shaw
William has been freelance for over 20 years. He is as happy working on the side of a hill photographing a sheep farmer for the National Trust, as he is in his studio in London shooting food.
He has worked for many clients over the time. Including, the BBC, Olive, Waitrose, Marks and Spencers, John Lewis, Conran Octopus, Hamlyn, Penguin, Harpers Collins, Headline, Hamlyn, Pavilion, Simon and Schuster, Kyle, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Weight Watchers, National trust. Working with Mary Berry, Carluccio, Sophie Grigson, Hairy Bikers, Brian Turner to name a few. He has just reached the finals of this years Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Award.
