Yes I know. I must be the first to have a shoot for next Easter?

In all my years as a food photographer I have never been asked to shoot Easter in September the year before. The client is a company that supply to the unique market place that is the Garden Centres.

It is quite an eye opener to see the logistics behind a company that operates in this field. I have always wondered where all those things you find in a garden centre come from, now I know. It is a very

complicated process of sourcing from multiple suppliers, often repackaging and then anticipating trends 8 months ahead. They were busy sending stock out for Christmas as we were shooting Easter.

I am just glad that I can pop in and out of a world like this, way too much stress for me. Though I did quite enjoy being surrounded by sweets for two days.
