Summer food

I found myself back in Heelis House Swindon. Shooting the Summer recipes for The National Trust. Each season we photograph all the new dishes to be found in all of their lovely restaurants and cafe. We have a couple of days doing the detailed photography of each dish, showing the correct portions and on the prescribed crockery.

Then we get to have a fun day stylising the chosen few recipes that we think work best; and that help demonstrate the change in seasons. There is quite a team on those days. The development chef, and three from the food and beverages team plus a couple from the retail team. All pulling together to create these great images that are then used throughout the Trust’s many food outlets and publications.
