Last week I spent 4 days in Puglia visiting the writer Sophie Grigson. This Summer she sold most of her belongings, packed her car with life’s essentials and head off to Southern Italy (Puglia). She settled in Ceglia and is now living the “Dolce vita”. She is immersing herself in the Italian life and learning to cook true Italian peasant food. We took loads of pictures of local markets, scenery, and we also photographed several of Sophie recipes inspired by her neighbours, producers and shop owners. We are slowly working on a cook book though as we are now working at Italian speed this may take a while…
